Quang is a doctoral student at the Department of Educational Policy & Leadership, SUNY at Albany, concurrently a research assistant at the Program for Research on Private Higher Education (PROPHE). He received his master degree in Higher & Professional Education at the Institute of Education, University College London, where his academic interests budded and he attended and presented at several higher education conferences. Quang’s enduring research interest is Private Higher Education, including traditional non-profit sectors, the growing for-profit sector and even corporate universities. His master thesis sought to answer the question “How do private universities in Vietnam internationalize?” As a budding scholar, not only has Quang attended many academic conferences, penned online articles on higher education, but he has also been involved in various conference organizing projects, youth development initiatives and volunteer undertakings.
